I have watched a few interviews with Dawn Robinson. I have NEVER heard her say anything bad about Cindy or Terry. Yet Both Terry and Cindy were being shady about Dawn and Max in this interview. This sounds like Destiny's child all over again. Two of the women left the group because of issues with management, better known as Mathew Knowles.

I wish they would have told the truth about who was dating who and why the other two weren't happy with 2 cents per album but Terry and Cindy were.

Its sad how groups back then had money issues. I would have thought they were rich on their first albums. New Edition, TLC, En Vogue, and etc its sad they didnt see money until later on.

As a kid growing up in the 1990's this was one of my favorite groups. Great singing, great style, great charisma and chemistry. I think it was inevitable that things would get a little complex and out of sorts over the years with this kind of success. I like ALL of the girls but I have to admit that I'm a little partial to Dawn and Maxine's side on this story.

Okay. Now that Im hearing Maxine and Dawn's part in what had happened, I can honestly say that, this was an opportunity for the people in management to blindside four, capable, young and talented group of women. And blindside them they did but, at the same time, it would have been better if common sense came into play. Just jumping in and signing something that sounds like jiberish, is a noooooo! If you are reading a contract, please get you a lawyer who can help you to break down the bits and pieces so that you can have a clear and concise understanding of what's being presented to you. And they didnt do that! They did it after they found out how much they were being paid. And thats a shame! But, I agree with Maxine and Dawn. At the rate that they were singing their butts off and selling albums like hot cakes off of the grilling pan, they should have been paid a whole lot more! And thats just based off of their talent alone. Regardless, thats no reason at all to leave a group! Fans like me were left in the dust in wondering what in God's name has happened with Envogue? Dawn has left the group and then, Maxine would leave later on. And replacements were called in. Im like what the????? And I had already guessed that it had to be a management thing. Its terrible! I miss these ladies! I wish that they could come back and stop all of this damn foolishness but now, at least two or three of the members are in their 60's. Their youth is over and gone but, at least the songs are still there and I listen to them from time to time.

As much as I love Rhona Bennett and her voice, I just feel like that she's ran her course. The only real members are Dawn Robinson, Maxine Jones, Terry Ellis, & Cindy Herron. I think it would be super cool if Rhona Bennett & Amanda Cole got together and form a duo, making their own group.

See, I knew it. Everyone keeps arguing with me that the "EV3" album was originally going to be titled "Friendship", but they're wrong, because Dawn just said it herself "I was kind of ambushed to go to this creative meeting, which would've been the "EV4" album, and it became the "EV3" album. There you have it.

I love how all these quote on quote Envogue fans. Say what you want but, the group has not been successful on the charts since there were the 4 original members. Some many artists have been financially raped by their label. Dawn was write to negotiate their contract. TLC sold more records and still had to file bankruptcy. I know they still tour, but Envogue will never be as successful as they were without the original members.

This is mirrored by what happened to the Pussy Cat Dolls.... the industry is rife with this kind of 'slave labour'!
